Business Travel Requirements for a Vietnam Visa for Australian Citizens

1. Visa Validity

   Visa is valid for the specific dates requested. Entry and exit must occur within these dates.

   The validity of the issued visa is at the discretion of the Embassy/Consulate and may vary to that advertised.

2. Duration of Stay

   Visas are issued with specific entry and exit dates which are based on the dates requested on the visa application form and the visa validity selected. Travel must be completed within those dates.

3. Passport

   The applicant's actual passport. The passport must:
   • Be valid for six months beyond exit date
   • Have two blank facing visa pages

4. Copy of Passport Identification Page

   A clear photocopy of the information page (biodata page) from the applicant's passport.

5. Business Introduction Letter

6. Proof of Approval

   You must provide an approval letter from the Department of Immigration in Vietnam. The inviting company in Vietnam will need to apply for the approval letter on behalf of the applicant through the Department of Immigration in Vietnam. A copy is acceptable. Please ensure the " Department of Immigration Approval Document " is addressed to the Vietnamese Consulate Sydney, Australia as the place of submission.

7. Visa Application Form

   The Consulate of Vietnam requires a visa application form that is completed online. To access the form, visit the following website: https://visa.mofa.gov.vn/Homepage.aspx. Upon completion, you must provide a printed copy of the online visa application form. The visa application form must:

   • Include answers for all fields
   • Display your full name as it appears in your passport
   • Be signed

   Please Note: Do not upload a digital photograph to the online visa application form. You are required to provide printed photographs along with your visa application pack which our agents will include with your application. CIBTvisas provides a guide to assist you in completing the application.

   Please Note: Applicants under the age of 18 years who have signed their own passport can sign the visa application form. Applicants who are under the age of 18 years who do not have a signature in the passport, must have the visa application form signed by a parent/guardian.

10. Minors
